Better days begin in year 2007, Goodbye 2006

Ohh I'm sorry for blaming you
For everything I just couldn't do
And I've hurt myself by hurting you
~Hurt, Christina Aguilera~

Here is my first blog entry after about a year I stopped blogging. Sitting here staring at the screen of my laptop, I can’t help but to think that time flies. In a blink of an eye, today is the last day of 2006. Many good as well as bad things had happened back at the beginning of 2006 until now. Maybe I should highlight whichever events that I remember vividly throughout the year of 2006:

Goodbye U-N-I-F-O-R-M!
After SPM, I am indeed a happy guy. Say goodbye to the olive green pants, white shirts, and white shoes once and for all! After 11 years of wearing uniforms (excluding kindergarten), I can OFFICIALLY declare an extreme makeover. Maybe not that extreme, but I can drop the so called school-boy-look I had been ‘wearing’ for years.

SPM results out?
I had been complaining that my days are boring ever since I finished my SPM without realizing the results day arriving. The truth is finally out. It is time for me to face the reality. My results were actually ok (only three B3), but maybe I am a bit disappointed as a lot of my close friends scored straight A's.

The other side of me; I dyed my hair
This is supposed to be before the SPM results. My hair was golden orange in colour at this time. It actually matched my complexion and facial features very well. Then, there goes the highly anticipated Chinese New Year. There was this incident which I regretted so badly. I don't really know what came into me. To think again, I am acting childish at that particular moment. Here is how it goes:

We were having one family gathering which includes my family, my aunties and my uncles as well as all my cousins in this restaurant somewhere in the city of KL. There were not enough seats for me to sit with my cousins and siblings, so I was assigned to sit with my aunties and uncles including my parents on the next table. I actually burst with anger on the spot and stormed out. Long story short, I am indeed in great embarrassment to show that kind of attitude. STUPID ME....

I obtained a driving license
I am officially eligible to drive. Yay me!! In the midst of waiting for my SPM results, I went for driving course. It was sort of unbearable because the instructors were showing all kinds of attitude and complaining about how bad I am driving. But, who cares as those days were now history.

Me entering MMU (Multimedia University), Malacca
On June 10th 2006, I stepped into my university life. I am currently pursuing Foundation in Engineering. I managed to go through the first semester after having quite some hard time adjusting to the new environment. At the end of the semester, I obtained trusty friends which are still with me to battle the upcoming semesters and days.

Ok, I am now striving for my final examination of Semester 2 which will begin in three more days. In this semester, I got the chance to try Malacca’s famous food namely “Satay Celup” and “Taiwan Mee”. In addition, there is also a most memorable day - MY SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY. Thanks to all my best buddies in MMU, they organized a surprise birthday party for me two days earlier (4th December which is suppose to be Julian’s birthday) in Plaza Siswa. Indeed, I am shocked and speechless at that time. I am never going to forget the memorable birthday present you all got for me as well. Hehe. Last but not least, this year, I have some clashes with this particular friend. I hope to take this opportunity to say that I am truly sorry if I hurt your feelings and let’s just start over.

I should conclude that there are ups and downs for me in year 2006. I am looking forward for better days in year 2007. My new year's resolutions? Well, simple! I just hope to be a better person and have a better attitude. I will also try to study hard and smart to get good CGPAs in the near future.

~HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS~
